Air Patrol needs your help to continue it's
work.
Senior meetings are held every first and third Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m. local time in the CAP hangar on Mainsail Drive at Marco Island Executive Airport.
Cadets meet every Tuesday at 6:30PM local time
in the Hangar.
The Squadron provides emergency services transporting
medical technicians, lifesaving medicines and human organs for transplant.
When disaster strikes, such as a hurricane, the Marco Island Squadron
provides communications systems, assistance in locating victims, evacuation
assistance and damage assessment. The daily Flight patrol operates
on a route beginning at the Marco Island Airport past Goodland to
Seminole Park, to Port of the Islands, Everglades City, Pavilion Key,
Indian Key, Cape Romano, along the shore to Big Marco Pass, and back
to the airport. From time to time the Marco Island Squadron extends
its operations up the coast. The Squadron also flies special missions
called by the Air Force in other areas. Over the years, numerous boaters
and aircraft crew members have been found and assisted by the Squadron.
